According to the latest report, the Google will launch at least four smartphones this year. Two of them will arrive in early June, while the other two will be announced later this year, probably in October.

Google Pixel Fold Renders 5

The first batch of Google smartphones should include the aforementioned Google Pixel Fold and the affordable Pixel 7a. The Pixel 8 and the Pro version of annual flagships will arrive in the autumn. The report also reveals some pricing details.

Several rumors and leaks have been suggesting that Google’s foldable screen smartphone is in the works. Although its launch has been postponed many times, the explanation is that Google wants to bring a final product. Whenever it comes, its target is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold line.

Recently, a user recognized the Pixel Fold design in the hands of a Googler on a train and managed to take a blurry picture. If this news is true and we are dealing with the Google foldable, the phone is in the testing phase. So there is every reason to believe that the above timetable is real.

Google Pixel Foldre spotted in the wild

At the same time, the WinFuture report says that, according to a retailer, the phone could be on the shelves in Germany as early as the beginning of June. It will be available in two colors – Carbon and Porcelain.

The Google foldable will reportedly be available in a 256GB version. This variant is expected to cost €1,700 ($1,825) in the European Union. If so, it will be slightly cheaper than Samsung’s Galaxy Fold 4, which costs €1,799 ($1,931). On the other hand, it turns out that the Pixel Fold will be more expensive than the €1,599 ($1,716) Honor Magic VS.

Pixel 7A Launch Date and Price

In addition to the folding-screen smartphone, Google will soon announce the Pixel 7a. The latter will be priced at €500 ($536) in the region. It will have a single version of 128GB but will be offered in four colorways: Arctic Blue, Carbon, Cotton, and Jade.

This phone will target Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A series and many others from other top brands. Thus, the life of this model will be much more difficult than that of the Fold. We meant the market of foldables is not over-saturated as the market of mid-rangers. So obviously, they chase different goals.

The 7a would be equipped with a 6.1-inch 1080p screen. The latter will use an OLED panel and support a 90Hz refresh rate. It is unclear whether the phone will use the previously-rumored Tensor G2 or the Exynos G5300 chip.

Other rumored specifications include UFS 3.1 native, Sony IMX787 64MP camera sensor, 12MP ultrawide sensor, 5W wireless charging and more.
