Following the launch of the new versions of iPad Pros, Apple have also refreshed the MacBook Air by announcing it the latest 10th generation Intel CPUs. The new lightweight ultrabook comes with more storage in its base model. The device also come with Magic Keyboard which was first made available on MacBook Pro models.
Apple MacBook Air 2020 Specifications
The MacBook Air 2020 is powered by optional Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 10th generation Intel processors. All of them feature Intel’s Iris Plus graphics. The new MacBook 2020 delivers twofold CPU performance and 80 percent better graphic compared to previous generation MacBook Air.
The 13.3-inch IPS Retina Display produces 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution with True Tune technology. The device features a pair of Thunderbolt 3 plus ports. Apart from charging and data transfer, the ports can be used to drive up to 6K external display. It is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth 5.1 and 3.5mm audio jack. The base model comes with 256 GB of SSD storage.
The Magic Keyboard without Touch bar is available on the MacBook Air 2020. The chassis of the device is made out of recycled 6000-series aluminum and it weighs 1.29kg and its thickness is 1.61cm. The device is powered by a 49Wh battery that support 30W fast charging through the charger included in the retail package.
This year MacBook Air comes in three colour edition – Gold, Space Gray and Silver.
