Motorola has announced the Moto G 5G 2023 and Moto G stylus 2023, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the g series for the US market. Both the phones feature a 6.5-inch HD+ screen with 120Hz or 90Hz refresh rate, specifications.

Moto G Stylus 2023 Unveiled
The Moto G Stylus (2023) is a 4G only phone with its Helio G85 chipset. It also comes with 4GB of RAM but only half the storage at 64GB (you can still put in a microSD card of up to 1TB).
That older model has a large 6.8” display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The new model has a smaller 6.5” IPS LCD with only HD+ resolution (and the same 90Hz refresh rate), which makes it less suitable for sketching things with a stylus.
Anyway, this phone also has a water repellent design and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack next to the USB-C port on the bottom. Like its sibling, this one has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the side.
The camera setup features a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and smaller 0.64µm pixels (1.28µm after binning). It can record 1080p video at 30fps. There is a 2MP macro cam on the back, plus an 8MP selfie camera on the from (with 1080p @ 30fps video).
And note that the older model launched with Android 11, this one comes with Android 13 out of the box.

Moto G Stylus (2023) Price and Availability
The new Stylus will become available in the US on Friday (May 5) at a price of $200. For comparison, the 2022 model was $300 for a 4/128GB unit (there wasn’t a 4/64GB option). Of course, time has dropped the price of the older model to $170.
