During the launching of the Magic Vs, Honor also launched its latest series of high-end phones – the Honor 80 series. So, let’s have a look at the new Honor 80 Pro models.

Honor 80 Pro
The 80 Pro is the higher end model in the series and features some flagship specifications. The Chinese smartphone maker is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Interestingly, this version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is a low frequency variant of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC found on other flagship phones. This screen has a 1.5K resolution and also offers 120Hz refresh rate as well as a PWM frequency of 1920MHz.
The device weighs around 188 grams and has a thickness of just 7.8mm.
The device is also powered by a large 4,800mAh battery pack that supports 66W fast charging and runs on the latest Android 12 OS based MagicOS 7.0 out of the box.
On the front, it features a punch hole cutout for a dual camera setup that consists of a 50 megapixel and a 2-megapixel selfie shooter.
Meanwhile, the rear packs a large 160-megapixel primary camera, that is paired with a 50 megapixel ultra-wide angel lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Interestingly, the rear has a unique “8” shaped camera module, while the front has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display.

Honor 80 Pro Price and Availability
The new Honor 80 Pro comes in multiple color options, namely Bright Black, Jade Green, Blue Wave, and Pink Morning Glow.
The handset are being offered in three different configurations and price points, so here are all the details:
- 8GB + 256GB: 3499 yuan (roughly 489 US Dollars)
- 12GB + 256GB: 3799 yuan (roughly 530 US Dollars)
- 12GB + 512GB: 4099 yuan (roughly 572 US Dollars)
The smartphone will be available for pre-orders in China starting from November 23. Although there is currently no word regarding its international availability. But if the brand does plan on launching these phones outside of China, we can expect a global release sometime next year. But the launch might be a couple of months away.
