Earlier this month, the Infinix ZERO 5G was launched in the Nigeria with impressive specs such as Dimensity 900 5G chipset and a triple camera system. However, the device disappointedly came with the Android 11 OS out of the box. Today, Infinix India’s CEO Anish Kapoor has revealed that the company’s first 5G-powered handset will soon get the new Android 12 OS.
The announcement comes after several users asked for the software update timeline of the ZERO 5G. Taking this up, Anish Kapoor took to Twitter that the Infinix ZERO 5G will get the Android 12 software upgrade in August this year. Although it will be a long time till we see the phone getting updated, it will still be great to have it.
