Alongside the nova 7 series launched today, the Chinese manufacturer Huawei has also launched a mid-range tablet with 10.4 inch display in China called MatePad 10.4.
As a brand-new product of the MatePad series, the Huawei Tablet MatePad is aimed at the basic education age group of students and young parents.
The new Huawei MatePad tablet has a total of two color variants of white and gray. The Huawei tablet features a 10.4-inch full-screen. For children and teenagers, the Huawei MatePad screen has professional eye protection capabilities. There are also special eye protection settings.
The extremely thin body design of this tablet is very light and can be held with one hand.
Asides its great appearance and display, the Huawei MatePad supports many innovative technologies, such as parallel vision, smart split-screen, multi-screen collaboration, and good horizontal screen experience.
With the M-Pencil, owners can take notes just as they would with a regular pen and notebook. They can also draw, make sketches, and practice calligraphy.
As per hardware configuration, the Huawei MatePad 10.4 is powered by the Kirin 810 chip that adopts 7-nanometer process technology. The processor is paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. It also has support for storage expansion via a MicroSD card slot for up to an additional 512GB
The Huawei MatePad has an 8MP selfie camera and an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and an LED flash. The camera app has lots of features including HDR and support for time-lapse photography.
There is a 7250mAh battery inside with support for 18W wired fast charging. The tablet comes in Wi-Fi (BAH3-W09) and LTE (BAH3-AL00) variants. It also has support for Huawei’s M-Pencil active stylus but doesn’t ship with one. It runs EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 out of the box.
