Alcaltel has yet again announced another ultra-affordable Android 10 smartphone – Alcatel 1A (2020). The smartphone has almost the same specs as the Alcatel 1B (2020) that was announced in January.
1A (2020) is also built around a 5.5-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1440 pixels resolution, using 18:9 aspect ratio. It is an IPS screen with no notch or pop-up camera on board.
Under the hood, there is a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz each, paired with a 1GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via external SD card.
On the photography department, the device shipped with a single 5 MP main cameras featuring PDAF, a single-LED flash and an f/2.0 aperture. On the front, their is a wide angle, single 2-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video chats.
The phone lacks fingerprint scanner, but makes it up with Face ID, dual SIMs with 4G LTE network support, a 3000mAh battery. It runs the latest Google Android 10.0 (Go Edition) out of the box.
