Yesterday, we reported that WhatsApp
is working on making its app available for tablets
, and today Google has remember
that tablets still exists in terms of apps supply. Android tablets were left
out of the Google Assistant bash, Google has finally open the gate for them.

The newest beta version (7.16) for the Google app includes a
tablet icon under Availability, by implication, this simply means that
Assistant is coming to tablets running on Android very soon.

The beta app itself is yet work with the Google Assistant, however,
rather going back to Google Now on Tap.

Remember that the Google Assistant is only available on all devices
running on Android 7.0 and above. Devices making use of this app includes
Android TVs, Chrome OS on the Pixelbook, various car infotainment systems and it
even extends to iOS via the Google app. So why should Android tablets be denied
of the Assistant?
