The decision to reject Ag. EFCC boss followed a report from
the Department of State Services, DSS which again disqualified Magu based on an
integrity test by the secret police, which he failed.

the position at the Nigerian Senate on Wednesday, March 15 before Senator Dino
Melaye disclosed that the upper house of legislature had received a letter
saying Magu is not qualified for the job because he failed an integrity test by

Melaye claimed that two reports were released by the DSS

Melaye therefore read Paragraph 14 of the DSS letter on Magu

In a response to Melaye, the Ag. EFCC boss kicked against the
DSS report, saying that the service had shown it had a problem with
inconsistency when it released two contradictory reports about him to the Senate
late last year.
