The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has been officially unveiled in China. As the name suggests, it is the successor of Ace Pro from 2022 and the Pro version of Ace 2 from earlier this year.
This product is a performance-oriented smartphone targeted mostly at youth and gamers. It is the brand’s first phone with 24GB RAM.
The device looks almost like the vanilla Ace 2 and even retains the iconic alert slider. Let’s go through everything it offers along with its pricing and availability.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro flaunts a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1240 pixels), 450 PPI, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 2160Hz PWM dimming. The centered punch-hole 10-bit HDR-enabled panel can reach a maximum local brightness level of 1600 nits. While its global peak brightness level is rated at 1200 nits.
The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The chipset is paired with LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 9140mm² VC cooling system.
As for software, the phone boots ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 and will receive 3 Android updates. It draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery and supports 150W SuperVOOC fast wired charging.
Talking about optics, it comes with a 16MP front-facing camera and a triple camera system on the back. The rear camera setup includes an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper.
On the connectivity front, the handset supports dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
Other features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos-supported dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and a customized x-axis vibration motor from OnePlus 11.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Genshin Impact gift box
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro also comes in a Genshin Impact Paimon gift box. The box is themed around Paimon, the deuteragonist of the video game. Paimon is a non-playable character who accompanies the Traveler throughout their adventure in Teyvat, serving as their guide.
Regarding the contents of the box, OnePlus will include a Paimon-inspired sim ejector tool, a phone case, and an acrylic phone holder. The company will top these items with themed stickers and decorative pieces such as a wall poster and an acrylic table piece. OnePlus also made software changes to the phone, providing custom icons and wallpapers.

The smartphone is available for pre-order starting today. It will go on sale from August 23. It can be availed in either Aurora Green or Titanium Empty Gray color options.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro also comes in a Genshin Impact Paimon gift box. This version of the phone (16GB + 512GB) is priced at ¥3,599 (~$500) and will be available on August 30.
