Samsung Galaxy A24 4G with 6.5-inch sAMOLED display launched

The Samsung Galaxy A24 4G has officially been unveiled in the Vietnam market. The device is listed on Samsung Vietnam’s official website. The latest offering arrives as the successor to the last year’s Galaxy A14 4G.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 features a 6.5-inch sAMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution and 1,000 nits peak brightness. The phone has a waterdrop notch and a thick chin at the bottom.

The back panel has vertically stacked three camera sensors. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.

On the imaging front, the Samsung Galaxy A24’s triple rear camera setup comprises a 50MP main sensor with OIS support, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. Up front, there is a 13MP selfie snapper.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A24 is equipped with an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. As per benchmark listings, this is likely the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The device packs up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with microSD card slot for additional needs.

The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery. The charging speed is unknown but reports suggest 25W. Connectivity options on the Galaxy A24 include a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, and GPS.
