Earlier today, the Vivo Y35m budget smartphone was unveiled in China. At the same time, the brand also unveiled yet another device called Vivo Y53t. Interestingly, the two phones are one and the same. The only major difference between the duo is their price tags. Despite being the same handset, the Vivo Y53t is cheaper, whereas the Vivo Y35m is more expensive.

The Vivo Y53t sports a 6.51-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display (LCD) with a dewdrop notch. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
The phone features a 13MP (wide) + 2MP (macro) dual camera system and a 5MP selfie camera. It offers multiple connectivity options, like dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and USB Type-C. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The handset boots OriginOS Ocean based on Android 13. Finally, it draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery and carries support for 15W charging.
Vivo Y53t Price and Availability
The Vivo Y53t retails at the following price tags in China.
- 4GB + 128GB – ¥999 (~$145)
- 6GB + 128GB – ¥1,099 (~$160)
The device in two color options, such as Orange Fruit and Black Truffle. It will be available for purchase from January 9.
On the other hand, the Vivo Y35m is more expensive by ¥400 ($60) but it also comes in 8GB + 128GB memory configuration.
