Chinese manufacturer vivo has announced the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm’s cheapest 5G chipset, Snapdragon 480 5G – meet the vivo Y31s 5G.
The vivo Y31s is built around 6.58 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 400 PPI density and resolution 1080 x 2408 pixels. As earlier mentioned, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM4350 Snapdragon Octa-core processor.
It is packed with 4 GB and 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The smartphone features a dual camera on the rear side that consists of 13 MP (wide) + 2 MP (depth) while on the front there is an 8 MP (wide) selfie camera.
The device is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 battery + Fast charging 18W and runs on the Android 11 + Funtouch 11 operating system.

The vivo Y31s 5G comes in three colors: Ruby Red, Titanium Gray, and Monet. It will be available in China this month with a starting price tag of CNY 28,000 yen (about $260).
