Q. What is MTN Data
bundle?
A. MTN Data bundle is a service that allow you access to the
internet after subscribing to a data bundle.
Q. Who can subscribe
to MTN Data bundle?
A. All MTN Customers can subscribe to any MTN Data bundle.
Q. How do I subscribe
to MTN Data bundles?
A. You can subscribe to any MTN Data bundles via SMS by sending
the bundle plan keyword to 131 or via USSD by dialing *131*1# and selecting
your preferred data plan.
Q. What are the
different MTN Data bundles plans available?
A. There are Daily, Weekly, Monthly, 2-Months and 3-Months data
bundle plans. See table below for the available data bundles
Q. I can see that the
volume of 30MB-Daily bundle plan and 100MB-Daily plan has increased to 50MB to
150MB respectively. So if I have 30MB and 100MB active, what will I receive
after my bundle is renewed successfully?
A. On renewal, you will receive 50MB or 150MB and NO LONGER
30MB or 100MB.
Q. Can I purchase
multiple MTN Data bundles?
A. Yes, you can activate multiple data bundles and all the data
bundles subscribed to will have its own unique expiry.
Q. If I have multiple
data bundles active, which bundle will deplete first?
A. If you have multiple data bundles active, the data bundle
with the least validity will be used first.
Example: If you have a 30-day bundle plan and buys 1day plan,
the 1 day plan will be used first before the 30-day plan. And if on day 28 you
now buy another 7day plan, the active 30-days bundle plan will be consumed
first since it has 2 days to expire.
Q. If I have multiple
data bundles active, which bundle will auto-renew first?
A. If you have multiple data bundles active, the last data bundle
purchased within the same bundle plan will be the bundle to be auto renewed.
Example: Bundle plan Activation
From the table above, only the 50MB-daily bundle will be auto
renewed from the daily plan and 2GB from the weekly plan as long as you have
enough airtime for the renewal.
Q. What happens if I
exhaust my data bundle before the renewal date?
A. As soon as you exhaust your data bundle before the
expiry, your data access will be suspended and you will not be able to browse
again. However, you will be able to buy another data plan or opt-in for Pay As
You Go browsing @N10.24/MB.
Q. What happens after
I exhaust my bundle and do not have enough airtime to renew it?
A. Your data access will be suspended BUT as soon as you recharge
up to the bundle amount, the bundle will be auto renewed.
Q. Will the system auto
renew my Data bundle after exhausting the bundle elements?
A. If you exhaust your data bundle before the expiry/renewal
date, your data access will be suspended until the renewal day before it will
be renewed as long as you have enough airtime. However, you will be able to
browse again when you buy another data bundle.
Q. Can I share my MTN
Data bundle?
A. No, you will not be able to share your data bundle.
Q. will I be able to
rollover my used data bundle?
A. Yes, you will be able to roll over any unused data bundle
as long as you renew the bundle before it expires but if you renew your data
bundle after it has expired, you will lose any unused data bundle.
Q. How do I check my
MTN data Bundle balance?
A. To check your data bundle balance, simply dial *131*4# or
SMS 2 to 131 and you will be able to see the bundle balance based on the plan
category.
Q. Will I be able to
cancel auto-renewal anytime?

A. Yes, you will be able to cancel auto-renewal on your
bundle anytime by sending the opt-out keyword to 131. See table below.
