Oppo has silently announced the Oppo A38 smartphone in the UAE. The device is now listed on OPPO UAE’s website with all its specifications and features. Unfortunately, the company is yet to confirm its price and availability. Here is a look at what’s packed inside the Oppo A38.
The Oppo A38 measures 163.74 x 75.3 x 8.16mm and weighs 190 grams. It has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of up to 720 nits in direct sunlight.
The screen also supports 100 percent DCI-P3 and 100 percent sRGB colour gamuts. According to OPPO, the waterdrop notch display offers a screen-to-body ratio of 89.90 percent.
The Oppo A38 has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the back, the device is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus support. It comes with a 2-megapixel portrait lens. The front and rear cameras support 30fps 1080p video recording.
The A38 is powered by the Helio G85 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The device offers 64 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
It comes with other specs, such as dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-facing fingerprint sensor.

At present, there is no information about the price of the Oppo A38. What’s known is that the device will be available in two shades, such as Glowing Black and Glowing Gold. The device is expected to be released in multiple Asian markets, including India, this month.
