OnePlus has officially unveiled the much-talked OnePlus Ace 3, a sub-flagship offering, in the Chinese market.
With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip onboard, the device rivals the likes of the Realme GT 5, the Redmi K70, the iQOO Neo 9, and the Honor 90 GT in China. Here is a look at the specifications, features, and price of the device.

The OnePlus Ace 3 has a similar design language to the recent OnePlus’ numbered flagship and Ace-branded phones, such as the Ace 2 and Ace 2 Pro. On the front, the Ace 3 has a curved-edge OLED panel with centred punch-hole, and the back panel features a round camera module featuring a triple camera unit. It measures 163.30 x 75.27 x 8.8mm and weighs 207 grams. Buyers can avail the Ace 3 in color options, such as Star Black, Moon Sea Blue, and Sand Gold.
The Ace 3 is equipped with a 6.7-inch BOE-supplied OLED ProXDR panel that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit colors. In addition, it offers a peak brightness of 4,500 nits like the OnePlus 12’s screen. In addition, the screen is optimized to offer an enhanced gaming experience.
The OnePlus Ace 3 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which is the same chip that powers the OnePlus 11 from last year. It is the first SD8G2-powered phone to ship with a massive 5,500mAh battery. While the device comes with support for 100W wired charging, there is no support for wireless charging.
The Ace 3 is equipped with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. It comes preloaded with the ColorOS 14-based Android 14. It is equipped with other features, such as dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, dual stereo speakers, an x-axis liner motor, and an alert slider.
For selfies, the OnePlus Ace 3 has a 16-megapixel camera on the front. The rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support. A 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens are available to complement it.

OnePlus Ace 3 comes in black, blue and rose gold colors.
Pricing in China starts at CNY 2,599 ($365) for the 12/256GB storage trim and goes up to CNY 3,499 ($493) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version. Open sales in China start on January 15.
