ZTE and Y! Mobile have teamed up together to launch a new smartphone in Japan. The device is officially called ZTE Libero 5G III (ZTE Libero 5G 3). It is the successor of ZTE Libero 5G II, which was launched last November.
The ZTE Libero 5G III (aka ZTE Libero 5G 3) features a flat frame design. It measures 9.1mm in thickness and weighs 207g. The IP57-rated device for dust and water resistance.
The handset sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a centered punch-hole, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The phone houses a triple camera system on the rear comprising a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter.
The connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C. On the software front, it boots Android 12 and features a MicroSD card slot.
Last but not least, the device gets its juice from a 4,120mAh battery and comes with support for USB PD PPS charging.

ZTE Libero 5G 3 Price and Availability
The phone is designed exclusively for the Japanese market, just like most handsets released there. Unfortunately, neither the manufacturer nor the career has revealed the price.
It will be available for purchase as from December 15. The phone comes in purple, white, and black color options.
