What is MTN Data Transfer?
MTN Data Transfer service (also known as Data Gifting) allows you to transfer data from your active data balance to your friends, buy data for friends, and request data from your friends. In essence, you can use the service to send and buy data bundles for your other smart phones, modems and tablets. The service is available to all customers on the MTN network.
Example: customer “A†who has an active data plan can share certain amount of data with another customer who is customer “B†up to a certain limit.
MTN Data Transfer Limit Increased Up To 500MB
Before now, you can only transfer a minimum of 10MB and Maximum of 100MB but now, MTN customers can transfer a minimum of 50MB and maximum of 500MB to their family and friends. This is aimed at ensuring its subscribers have enough to stay online.
Aside the increment in terms of limit, if you don’t want to share more up to 500MB, you can make do with 100MB or the newly introduced 200MB. Below image shows the difference between the old options and the new ones.
How To Share Data On MTN Network
