OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 12, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India It has a 6.82″ 2K AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and supports wet hand control.
The phone has self-developed Display P1 chip, which together deliver the brightest and purest images with lower power consumption.
The OnePlus 12 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with support for up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It has Pixelworks X7 Independent Visual Processor along with the company’s IRX gaming experience for 120fps gaming.
The phone has Cryo-velocity cooling system with 9140mm² VC heat dissipation area that includes a 3,686mm² small VC + 5,454mm² large VC. It runs Android 14 with OxygenOS 14, and will get 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates.
The OnePlus 12’s design is inspired by luxury watches with hollow-curved design. The time scales, starry dial, and circular characters on the camera module engrave the passage of time.
The phone still retains the three-stage alert slide, but the company has repositioned it to the left-hand side of the phone, which allows OnePlus to introduce a new integrated antenna and the Alert Slider solution on the new device to deliver an enhanced antenna performance for gaming, said the company.
The Flowy Emerald colorway has emerald green glass technology, and patterns are inspired from the braided channels of Dart River, and the black has a matte finish that has silk glass craftsmanship. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on the back.
It has 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor for the main camera, 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto lens with an equivalent focal length of 70mm, support for 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. It also has a 48MP Ultra-Wide Camera. The phone has 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile.
The OnePlus 12 packs a 5400mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless flash charging, and also supports wireless reverse charging. It can be charged up to 100% in 26 minutes for wired and 55 minutes for wireless.

It will be available to order from Amazon.in, OnePlus online store and offline stores starting today January 23rd, and goes on sale from January 30th.
