Vivo has launched the S16 lineup of smartphones in China. The series comprises of three models – the Vivo S16 Pro is the leader of the pack with its curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 8200 chipset and 50MP cams on the front and back.
The vanilla S16 brings the same display and design but with altered cameras and the aging yet still capable Snapdragon 870 chipset. The S16e is the budget entry in the lineup with an Exynos 1080 SoC and a 120Hz AMOLED display. In this article, we are talking about what the Vivo S16 Pro brings out of box.

Vivo S16 Pro with Dimensity 8200
The Vivo S16 Pro has a compact form factor and a rectangular camera module on the back panel. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with curved edges, FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an integrated fingerprint scanner. There is a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout on the device.
As for the imaging department, the Vivo S16 Pro features a 50MP OIS-enabled main lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro unit. There is a 50MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the Vivo S16 Pro is powered by Dimensity 8200 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage.
The S16 Pro is fueled by a 4,600mAh battery unit with support for 66W fast charging. Software-wise, the smartphone runs on OriginOS 3.0 based on Android 13.

Vivo S16 Pro Price and Availability
The Vivo S16 Pro sells in Jade and Black colors. It starts at CNY 3,299 ($472) with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Moreover, there is a higher model that has 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB storage and sells at CNY 3,599 ($515).
Official sales of the phone in China start on December 30. There’s no word on an international release for now.
