The original Samsung Galaxy Tab Active was announced way back in September 2014, now 3 years ago. Though the actual specifications were not mind blowing in speed or performance (Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 800 x 1280 display, 3 MP camera, 4,450 mAh battery.
It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat), it cover those specs with military-grade protection, made possible by its rugged, rubberized design, IP67 water resistance, and shock protection for up to 1.2 meter drops, much like the yearly Active variants of the Galaxy S line.
Samsung has now launched a revised version of the Galaxy Tab Active called the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2, including better protection, updated specifications and modern software. Check out hose specs below.
