After several weeks of rumors and leaks, Vivo has finally launched the V29 series of smartphones in India. The the two models launched in the market consists of the V29 and V29 Pro models. the Pro model stands above the standard version with an additional camera and a faster chipset. This is also an upgrade over the V27 Pro from earlier this year.

Talking about the higher-end smartphone first, it sports a tall 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch hole cutout.
With the Vivo V29 series, the company aimed to offer a premium design that includes a metallic frame and glass back. The edges of the device curve from the back and the front. It weighs just 188 grams and measures around 7.46mm in thickness.
Under the hood, the Vivo V29 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

On the back, the smartphone offers a triple camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera that supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a 12-megapixel portrait lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the front houses a 50-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
