OnePlus Pad Go with 11.3″ 2.4K 90Hz display, 4G LTE launched

The OnePlus Pad Go has been officially unveiled today in India. At the core, it’s a stripped-down version of the first tablet that OnePlus released back in April of this year.

Design and Display

The all-new OnePlus Pad Go features a very similar design to the OnePlus Pad. It has a flat edge and a unique Oreo-style camera cutout on the back. However, unlike the OnePlus Pad, the new tablet features a tone-tone design.

Nonetheless, on the front, the OnePlus Pad Go features an 11.35-inch IPS LCD screen. This display features a 2.4K resolution and has a 90Hz refresh rate. It also features TÜV Rheinland certification for blue light and has support for DC dimming. These two features make the display of the tablet eye friendly.

On that note, OnePlus has packed a dedicated Bedtime Mode in the Pad Go. This mode can reduce the brain-stimulating light coming from the device, making it easier to work and play on the tablet before bedtime.

Besides that, the OnePlus Pad Go features a 7:5 aspect ratio, the same aspect ratio as the OnePlus Pad. This aspect ratio makes the tablet offer more screen space, allowing you to get a better viewing experience when you are browsing the web, playing games, and reading books.

Also, the display of the Pad Go features 7.5mm bezels, which is pretty low for a tablet of this price point. And thanks to the slim bezels, the tablet can offer an 86.4% screen-to-body ratio.

Hardware Specs

Although the tablet comes with a budget-friendly price tag, the Pad Go is more than capable of handling your daily needs. Under the hood, the tablet features MediaTek Heli G99 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM.

For storage, you can get a tablet with up to 256GB of internal storage. And if you need more space, you can use the dedicated microSD card to extend the storage even further.

Other than that, the OnePlus Pad Go comes with an 8MP sensor on both the back and the front. Both these 8MP cameras have the ability to record 1080p at 30FPS. However, only the rear camera has support for EIS stabilization.

Besides, the Pad Go has support for Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 5. Thanks to these two, you are pretty much set to get stable and reliable wireless connections. OnePlus also offers an LTE variant, which will let you stay connected when you are on the go.

Battery and Software

When it comes to battery, the Pad Go packs a large 8000mAh cell with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. However, there’s no wireless charging support.

The OnePlus Pad Go comes with OxygenOS 13.2, which sits on top of Android 13. OnePlus has integrated some neat software features into the tablet. For example, if you have a OnePlus phone, you can connect the two devices wirelessly when they are kept together.
