ZTE Axon M – the first real foldable smartphone to be launched in Mid-October

ZTE Axon M - the first true foldable smartphone to be launched in Mid-October
Two Brands of ZTE – Axon and nubia – will be launching a new
device each on October 17. It’s speculated that Axon will be launching an
interesting phone as it going to come with two screens in a foldable form.

It is going to be different from the much anticipated
Samsung’s Galaxy X, which is expected to use a single flexible screen. ZTE will
make use two separate panels with 1080p resolution each which is expected to
feature minimal bezel at the joint of the two screens.

The smartphone – codenamed Axon M (Multy) – will have a 6.8”
screen with 2,160 x 1,920px resolution. It will for sure come with a large
display, but not too much because it’s going to be more compact than the 6.4” Xiaomi Mi Mix
when folded the two halves.

Furthermore, when folded the Axon M will come with screens
on the back and front. Guess, MeizuPro 7, may have a reason to be jealous. The Axon M’s back screen will have
a full color and high-FPS image.

The phone allegedly powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset (maybe
821), supported with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage will come with a price tag of $650.
It is said to have a battery capacity of 3,120mAh, not that good for a phone
with two screens.
