Netflix introduces 2 new mobile games this month

Starting from today, Netflix will be introducing two new games to its platform. They are Kentucky Route Zero and Twelve Minutes, two critically acclaimed games by Annapurna Interactive, on the iOS and Android versions of the Netflix mobile app.

With the release of these two games, which are included in the Netflix membership and free of advertisements and in-app purchases like all other games, Netflix concluded its first full year of game development, following the rollout of seven new mobile games last month.

Kentucky Route Zero

All five acts and interludes of Cardboard Computer’s BAFTA-winning Kentucky Route Zero are now available. This magical adventure game features a distinctive visual aesthetic that draws from theatre, film, experimental electronic art, and video gaming history.

Twelve Minutes

Tap and drag to escape a time-loop nightmare in this Tribeca Festival-nominated interactive thriller by Luis Antonio. James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe lend their voices. You’re in a 12-minute time loop, reliving the same terror… Breaking free? Real-time clues can help you modify the outcome.

Scriptic: Crime Stories
