DG of NIA Ayo Oke bursts wept after the announcement of his suspension

Daily Trust reported that the suspended Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayo Oke allegedly burst into tears and wept profusely at the Presidential Villa upon getting information about his suspension and denied access to the presidency.

Mr. Ayo Oke had lobbied to see President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo immediately his suspension announcement was made but all his efforts proved abortive as hewas denied access to their offices.
Oke was turned back whennhe got to the gate of the service chief. His suspension came into light over the money allegedly recovered by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on April 12, 2017 from a luxury apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos.
