The TECNO PHANTOM V Fold2 5G is a second-generation foldable smartphone with a book-style design, featuring a 6.42-inch cover screen and a 7.85-inch inner foldable display, both with 120Hz refresh rates.
The foldable screen boasts a 2K+ resolution, while the cover screen offers a 21:9 aspect ratio. The device is slimmer at 6.1 mm unfolded and 12 mm folded, and lighter at 249 grams, despite an increased battery size compared to its predecessor.
The PHANTOM V Fold2 includes a dock bar for a tablet-like experience with multitasking and drag-and-drop functionality in split-screen mode. It is powered by a 5,750mAh battery supporting 70W fast charging, reaching 50% in under 20 minutes and a full charge in 50 minutes, with additional support for 15W wireless charging.
The device comes with a 10-gram stylus, the Phantom V Pen, featuring an 80mAh battery that provides up to two hours of daily use. It is equipped with five cameras: three 50MP rear sensors (a primary lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a portrait lens with 2x optical and 20x digital zoom) and two 32MP front cameras (one on the cover screen and one on the inner display).
The V Fold2 offers 24GB of RAM (12GB physical and 12GB virtual) and 512GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 14-based HiOS, with two promised OS upgrades and three years of security updates. TECNO’s AI suite includes the Ella assistant, powered by Google Gemini, supporting over 400 functions and AI-powered searches.
Additional AI tools feature Magic AI Eraser, AI Artboard for turning sketches into digital art, Smart Q&A, AI Summary, AI Translation, and AI Writing, along with an AI Wallpaper generator and Universal Tone Technology for enhanced camera performance and accurate skin tone capture.

The PHANTOM V Flip2 5G features a customizable 3.64-inch cover screen supporting over 2,000 apps for easy access without unfolding the device, and a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED inner display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort.
The device is equipped with an aerospace-grade steel hinge tested for 400,000 folds and supports folding angles between 30 and 150 degrees. It includes three cameras: a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 150-degree field of view, and a 32MP selfie camera.
Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chip, the V Flip2 runs on Android 14-based HiOS, with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,720mAh battery that supports 70W fast charging, achieving a full charge in 43 minutes.
