Indian smartphone maker Lava has introduced a new affordable device in its home country. The Lava Yuva 2 is a budget phone that comes with just the features you’d need. It gets a large 5,000mAh battery, a large HD display, and a dual camera setup. The phone also gets a decent-looking design with a glass back. Lava Yuva 2 comes after the company launched its mid-range Agni 2 smartphone with a good-looking design and impressive features. The camera model looks reminiscent of the older iPhone vanilla models but only if we are being generous.
It gets a 6.5-inch display with a 1600 × 720 pixels (HD+) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. There are thick bezels on the front with waterdrop-notch enclosing the selfie camera. The handset is powered by the lower-end Unisoc T606 processor, paired with 3GB RAM, 64GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. You can expand the storage up to 512GB with a microSD card.
For photography, the Lava Yuva 2 gets a 13MP main camera on the rear with a secondary VGA camera and an LED flash. There’s a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
On the software front, the device runs Android 12, which the company claims comes with no bloatware or ads. Fueling the Lava Yuva 2 is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
