The Valentine Campaign is a way of MTN thanking its customers and in the spirit of Love; MTN Customers and Staff will have the opportunity to refer a friend’s MSISDN for MTN to give a gift to the referred friend.

Q. Who is Eligible for Valentine’s campaign offer?

All MTN Customers and Staff are eligible for the Valentine Campaign.

Q. What are the gifts to be won?

Lucky customers will be able to win any of the following gift items:

  • Jumia Shopping Voucher
  • Suregifts Shopping Voucher

Q. What is the duration of the campaign?

The Valentine offer will run for 5 hours on the 14th of February, 2023 from 1pm till 6pm ONLY (subject to the availability of gift) and the gifts will be given on a first-come-first-served basis:

Q. Can a customer refer a Staff? If Yes, how can a customer refer a staff MSISDN?

No. A customer can only nominate another customer and will not be able to nominate an MTN Staff line.

Q. Can a Staff refer a Customer? If Yes, how can a staff refer a customer’s friends MSISDN?

No. An MTN staff can not refer a customer. MTN Staff can only refer another staff.

Q. Can I nominate a non-MTN number?

No. Only MTN numbers can nominate/receive gift on the Valentine offer.

Q. Can a customer select the gift they want to gift to their referred friend?

The gift that a customer will get will be based on pre-programmed rules, this implies that the     customer that nominates a loved one will not be able to select a particular gift to be given.

Q. How many gifts can you gift a customer?

You can nominate many times but once one of your nominees have received a gift you will not be able to nominate a friend again i.e. A customer can ONLY receive a gift once.

Q. How will I be notified that I have won a gift?

A Notification message will be sent to all winners of the gifts.

Q. How many gifts can be won per hour?

Customer will ONLY be able to gift on an hourly basis from the specified number of gift items to be allocated to recipients within the hour window.

Q. What channel is for referral of a friend’s MSISDN?

Customer will be able to gift a loved one on Valentine Campaign day via myMTN NG App.

Q. Will I be charged when I nominate a friend’s MSISDN?

Customers will NOT be charged for gifting or receiving gifts for the Valentine Campaign offer.

Q. Will I be charged when I receive a gift?

Customers will NOT be charged for gifting or receiving gifts for the Valentine Campaign offer.

Q. How will I be notified that I have won a gift?

A Notification message will be sent to all winners of the gifts.

Q. How can I redeem my gift?

Lucky winners can redeem their gifts in any of the following ways:

  • Phone winners: Winners of the Phone will be contacted by 180, and will be directed on how to redeem their gifts
  • Voucher winners: Customers who received Jumia voucher gifts will be able to shop with it on Jumia app/web while customers who received SureGift voucher gifts will be able to shop with it on any SureGift merchant stores.
