Honor, at a launch event held yesterday in China, unveiled a slew of new products. The former Huawei’s brand introduced the new Honor 80 GT smartphone and the Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet. Alongside them, the Chinese OEM also launched the next-generation fitness tracker— Honor Band 7.

The latest wearable debuts as the successor of the Band 6 but does not bring any major upgrades. Let’s look closely at the specs and pricing of the smart band.

Honor Band 7 comes with a design similar to its predecessor. It has a rectangular dial that fuses with the strap. It comes with a high-gloss metal case and offers a 1.47-inch color AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass protection.

The wearable has all the usual fitness tracking features. It supports all-weather blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate monitoring as well as sleep tracking. The band also sports over 96 sports modes to track various sporting activities.

Further, the Honor Band 7 comes with a battery that can last up to 14 days of typical use and 10 days of heavy usage. It supports fast charging and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. It comes with payment support, remote control photography, and music playback controls.

Honor Band 7 Price and Availability

The wearable is offered in three colors— Rose Pink, Cedar Blue, and Magic Night Black. Honor Band 7 has been launched in China at a price of 249 Yuan ($35/ Rs. 2,958). However, it will be available for purchase at a discounted price of 199 Yuan. Its pre-orders will start tonight, and will officially go on sale on January 6.
