The Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2 has been unveiled in South Korea. The handset arrives as a rebranded version of the Galaxy M23 / Galaxy F23, which are available in other markets. Some of the major highlights of the Galaxy Buddy 2 include a 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 750 chipset, and 50-megapixel triple rear cameras.
The Galaxy Buddy2 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a teardrop notch. The screen supports an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes preloaded with the Android 12 OS and Samsung’s One UI.
On the front, the Galaxy Buddy2 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the device features a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper.
The Snapdragon 750G chipset is at the helm of the Galaxy Buddy2. The device comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
The power button located on the right edge of the device doubles up as a fingerprint reader. It offers other features, such as 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB-C port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 165.5 x 77 x 8.4mm and weighs 198 grams.

The Galaxy Buddy2 is now available for purchase in South Korea. The device is unlikely to be released outside the country. It carries a price tag of KRW 399,300 (~$305). It comes in three colors: Deep Green, Light Blue, and Orange Copper.
