OPPO Reno8 Z 5G with 64MP Triple Camera launched: Specs & Price

The OPPO Reno8 Z 5G has been announced in the Thailand. It is the sixth model in the Reno8 series after the standard, Pro, Lite, and Pro+ variants. This lineup also includes the Reno8 5G with MediaTek’s Dimensity1300 SoC. The latest device also arrives as the successor to the Reno7 Z 5G.

The OPPO Reno8 Z 5G features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device has a compact form factor and a Galaxy S21-like rectangular camera module.

On the imaging front, the Reno8 Z 5G sports triple rear cameras. The setup comprises a 64MP main sensor, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth unit. There is a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper.

Internally, the handset is powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset. It is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The smartphone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. The device ships with the Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with ColorOS 12.1.

Connectivity options on the OPPO Reno8 Z 5G include dual SIM support, 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
