Redmi K50i with Dimensity 8100 SoC launched: Specs & Price

Xiaomi has announced the Redmi K50i in India. The device is simply a rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro. This smartphone also goes by the name of Poco X4 GT in some markets.

The Redmi K50i features a 6.6-inch centered punch-hole display (LCD) with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), up to a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The DisplayMate A+ rated panel supports 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, DC Dimming, Dolby Vision, and HDR10. The screen offers 650 nits peak brightness, 1400:1 contrast ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The phone is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and LiquidCool Technology 2.0 (VC liquid cooling) to manage thermals. As for software, It boots MIUI 13 based on Android 12.

The device has a triple camera system comprising a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macron snapper. On the front, it nests a 16MP shooter inside the punch-hole for selfies and video calls.

The connectivity options on the handset include dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and GNSS. Interestingly, it sports a 3.5mm headphone jack, in addition to a USB Type-C port, Dolby Atmos-supported dual stereo speakers, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and an IR blaster. There’s also support for Hi-Res Audio (Wired and Wireless) but no MicroSD card slot.

The Redmi K50i measures 163.64 x 74.29 x 8.87mm in dimensions and weighs 200g. Last but not least, it is backed by a 5,080mAh battery with support for 67W fast wired charging.
