MTN Nigeria has decided to decommission one of popular tariff plan – MTN Talkmore and migrate all customers on this tariff plan to a new tariff plan. The said tariff plan was introduced about three years ago, September 2019.
The telco company believes that the new development is due to recent insights, and the need to remain competitive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
As expected, the customers on the affected tariff plan are already being notified on the decommissioning which is 7 days before it takes effect. This is to give them the chance to migrate to any plan of their choice by dialing *123*2#.
According to the company, the number of subscribers affected are about 1.3m customers.
Day of Decommissioning
MTN will decommission the tariff plan and migrate all the subscribers on it to to MTN Trutalk at midnight of 11th into 12th of May.
