Along with the Pixel 7 series and the Pixel Watch, Google also teased the Pixel Tablet, which is expected to be the company’s first Pixel series tablet, after discontinuing the Nexus tablets a few years back.
The Android tablet will be powered by Google Tensor, the company said that it is designed to complement the Pixel phone and is designed to be the most helpful tablet in the world.
The teaser show a large screen, camera on the top bezel, a power button on the top, single rear camera without flash, and quad speakers on the sides. It will likely run the optimized version of the Android 13 or probably Android 13L designed for tablets.
The Pixel Tablet will launch in 2023, so we might not get any other details about the tablet until next year.
Regarding the tablet, Rick Osterloh, Senior Vice President, Devices & Services, said:
Built to be the perfect companion for your Pixel phone, our tablet will blend into your day-to-day routine and help connect the moments you’re on the go with the moments you’re at home.
