According to reports, the upcoming Google Pixel 6a has received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. Hence, this could mean one thing – it may not take too long for the Pixel 6a midrange phone to go official. The rumor mill has leaked the Pixel 6a specifications in bits and pieces. Now, well-known tipster Yogesh Brar has tipped the entire specifications of the device.

The Google Pixel 6a will arrive with a 6.62-inch OLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The CAD renders of the device that surfaced in November 2021 will feature a centrally positioned punch-hole. The device is equipped with an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 front-facing camera.

The rear panel of the Pixel 6a has a horizontal camera module. It has a 12.2-megapixel Sony IMX363 main camera and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 ultrawide snapper. The device will come preloaded with the Android 12 OS. For security, it will be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Pixel 6a will be powered by the Google Tensor GS101 chipset. It is the same SoC that fuels the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro flagship phones. The device has 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It has a 4,800mAh battery that supports 30W rapid charging.

In May, Google will be holding its I/O 2022 developers conference. The event could be used to announce the Pixel 6a mid-ranger phone. At present, there is no information on the pricing of the device.
