Oppo has finally launched a new budget-centric smartphone in Nigeria dubbed the Oppo A55 4G. The smartphone was previously launched in India, back in October 2021. The smartphone comes with a 50MP triple camera system and has MediaTek’s Helio SoC inside.
Oppo A55 4G Specifications
The Indian and the Nigerian models seem to share the same specs sheet. That being said, it sports a 6.51-inch punch-hole display with an HD+ resolution. It is a 500 nits bright LCD panel with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and NEG T2X-1 glass protection.
The smartphone has a triple camera system at the rear with a 50MP primary lens, a 2MP bokeh lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront, it has a 16MP selfie lens at the top left side. It is powered by the Helio G35 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot for additional storage.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery and has an 18W fast charging support. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and runs on Android 11 out of the box. It has ColorOS 11.1 on top of it.
Oppo A55 4G Price in Nigeria
As for its price and availability, the Oppo A55 4G is goes for N109,000(~$262) in Nigeria and is already on sale via both online and offline Oppo authorized stores in the country. This is slightly higher than the India pricing.
The smartphone is available in two color variants – Rainbow Blue and Starry Black.
