Chinese phone maker HiSense has launched the HiSense U50 smartphone in Mexico. THe device is an entry-level smartphone with an iPhone 12-like design and a UNISOC processor under the hood.
It features a 6.08-inch water-drop notch display with an HD+ resolution. It is an IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. Although it has a modern aspect ratio, the phone still has a chunky bottom bezel.
As per cameras, the phone does have a huge camera island with triple cameras, one of the sensors is an 8MP unit and the other ones are a 2MP sensor and an AI lens. Upfront, it has a 5MP lens at the front.
Under the hood, it is powered by the UNISOC SC7731E quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. HiSense has offered a microSD card slot for additional storage needs. It houses a 4,100mAh non-removable battery and runs on Android 11 out of the box.
