Last year, Google moved its production line from China to northern Vietnam. But it appears the company will have to go back to China to manufacture its upcoming smartphone in China due to COVID-19 regulations.
According to a report from Nikkei, the governments around Asia have started tightening their border controls due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak. As a result of stricter regulations, Google will have to continue its production line in China.
