Though it has now overtaken Apple in the world ranking, Xiaomi is still somehow sluggish in updating its smartphones to the new version of the Android OS. It gives priority to the flagships of the Chinese market, which in recent years have been at the forefront of those who quickly receive a new version of the green robot. But this does not mean that users are not interested in knowing whether their smartphone will be updated before the next Android iteration or not. The users are waiting for MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
Two weeks ago, a list of Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO and Black Shark models surfaced online that can count on receiving the Android 12 update. This is not an official list, but it was assured by the creators that it was compiled taking into account the Xiaomi support policy and based on data received from MIUI developers.
It has been two weeks and now there are some corrections. POCO C3, POCO M2 and POCO M2 Reloaded dropped out of the contenders for Android 12. There is no longer any doubt that Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi 9 T and Redmi 9 Power will get Android 12. There has been a replenishment in the list of devices on which the twelfth version of the green robot is already being tested. The flagship devices now include Xiaomi Mi 11 series, Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 10T, Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro and Redmi K30 S Ultra.
This means that they will be among the first to update to the stable version of Android 12.
