Samsung currently has the foldable smartphone market under its total control. However, there could be a little shift as we have more companies are entering this segment. So to keep the crown for a longer period, the company is preparing a new round of device for the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series. Though the company is yet to disclose the official launch date of its event, many Samsung fans are already waiting for a Galaxy Unpacked in August where the company will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3.
Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Flip3, And More Products To Launch in August
An earlier report suggested the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on August 3. However, based on a new leak from a reliable tipster, the previously leaked date is not correct. According to the tipster, Tron, the Galaxy Unpacked will happen on August 11. The tipster also shared a list of devices that will appear at the Unpacked event. He said the company will also announce the Galaxy Watch4 series and the Galaxy Buds2. However, no information on the Galaxy Note30 series, it seems to have been discontinued.
According to a report from MySmartPrice, the standard Galaxy Watch4 is coming in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm. The 40mm variant will cost between 350 and 370 Euros. The 44mm variant, on the other hand, will launch between 380 and 400 Euros. The Galaxy Buds2 price will be around 180 and 200 Euros.
As far as foldable smartphones are concerned, the Z Fold3 will launch first in the US and the UK. It is likely to go on sale on August 27. According to a report, Samsung will also bring the foldable smartphone to India and we can expect it to reach China as well. While the Galaxy Z Flip 3 hasn’t been leaking a lot, the same can’t be said for the Galaxy Z Fold3. The bigger foldable smartphone will have a bigger outer display.
Moreover, the device will bring a punch-hole camera in the outer display and a dual-tone colorway design. The biggest change is that Samsung is likely bringing its first in-display camera with this smartphone. The foldable internal display is said to house an under-glass selfie snapper. In terms of the specifications, the device will bring improved cameras and will likely have variants with Snapdragon 888 Plus and Exynos 2100 SoC.
Since the launch of the new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Watch4 and Buds2 is happening sometime in the next month, we expect leaks to intensify over the course of the next few days.
