MTN Timed Based CallerFeel is a value added service that lets you to set a particular preset message as your CallerFeel status for a fixed time duration. This preset messages provide callers with information regarding your current status, especially when and where you cannot take phone call.

What is CallerFeel? it is a service that allows you to express yourself through short messages that will appear on your callers’ phone screen when they call your line. The message will appear as a pop-up notification. You can also use smileys and emoticons to make your message more exciting.

The below are the seven categories of predefined messages from which an MTN subscriber can choose from;

Of course, the reason why it is time- based is that the programmed time automatically expired and it reset back to default.

How To Activate MTN Timed Based CallerFeel

You will be able to access the feature via the SMS and WEB portals. However, service is currently not available via the USSD channel.

Every categories has 3 keywords, which is all about the timing.

For example: In Class category;

i. “CL30” to 50016 for 30mins

ii. “CL1” to 50016 for 1hour

iii. “CL2” to 50016 for 2hour

Important Points To Note

>> Each message can be set by the subscriber as status for a defined period of time – 30mins, 1hour or 2hours.

>> The system will automatically reset your status to the previous message once the stipulated time has elapsed.

>> You will have to send keyword again with a new time if you wish to extend the duration further. The system will ignore the previous timeline and set the new timeline.

>> You can also cancel the preset message by setting a new personal message. The system will cancel the preset message and over-write it with the new personal message.

To cancel the Time Based CallerFeel, simply text “TBC” to 50016
