Qualcomm is expected to announce a more powerful version of its Snapdragon 865 processor which is currently called the Snapdragon 865+. The chipset is expected to power the flagships that will be unveiled in the second half of the year. Now, a new report has revealed that virtually all the upcoming Samsung’s flagships scheduled to be launched in H2 2020 will be powered by a Snapdragon 865+ processor.
According to a tweet by the popular leakster, Ice Universe, Samsung is booking more than half of the Snapdragon 865+ stock for its phones. The leakser revealed that the Galaxy Note20 series, the Galaxy Tab S7 series, the Galaxy Fold 2, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G will all have the new processor.
But Samsung seems to have eaten half of the Snapdragon 865+ processor.

We are particularly happy about the Galaxy Note20 series getting the chipset seeing as the Samsung Galaxy Note10 series launched with the Snapdragon 855 even rather than the Snapdragon 855+. Of course, expect the Note20 series to come with the Exynos 992 in some markets.
It is also interesting to see that the Galaxy Tab S7 series will be getting the Snapdragon 865+ too as its predecessor also launched with the Snapdragon 855 instead of the Snapdragon 855+.
With more than five Samsung devices launching with the new chipset, we hope other manufacturers will be able to get sufficient stock for their own devices.
