Earlier today, Samsung officially launched the Exynos 880 5G chip with integrated 5G baseband. This chip is also based on Samsung’s 8nm FinFET process. The Exynos 880 features two A77 large cores at 2GHz and six A55 small cores at 1.8Ghz. Furthermore, it uses a Mali-G76 MP5 GPU, supports advanced graphics API, and integrates a variety of technologies for graphics processing.

Samsung Exynos 880 supports the sub-6GHz band and the uplink rate is 1.28Gbps while the downlink rate is 2.55Gbps. Also, this chip supports E-UTRA-NR Dual Connectivity. Here, it combines 5G and 4G to achieve a 3.55Gbps downlink. The uplink is also a little higher, 1.38Gbps. On LTE, it is capable of hitting a 1Gbps downlink speed.
