Sundar Pichai, the current CEO of both Google and the parent company Alphabet, recently made remarkable statements about Apple. He said that he never wanted the project on which they worked with Apple for a while to be the only one and that similar projects should be available. Apparently, remarkable developments regarding Google and Apple partnership will be on the agenda.
In his statement, Sundar Pichai first mentioned about the project where they developed the Coronavirus tracking system with Apple. As a reminder, both Apple and Google have developed a system that tracks the COVID-19 spread through collaboration.
Google CEO Wants To Work With Apple On More Projects
Later, Sundar Pichai stated that he is committed to collaborating with Apple. As a matter of fact, it seems that there will be attempts to collaborate with Apple in different projects such as the notification system project. Apart from these, Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that he regularly communicates with Apple’s CEO Tim Cook.
Apple and Google had surprised everyone by announcing that they were working jointly. They were developing an API to allow the development of digital tracking applications to better follow the spread of the Covid-19. The contact tracing API was recently available. Called Exposure Notifications, this contact tracing API is now available in iOS and Android operating systems.
