Samsung is expected to make the Galaxy Note20 series of flagship phones official in August. The lineup is likely to comes with in two variant named Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20+. Pigtou publication in partnership with @Xleaks7 has shared CAD renders of the Galaxy Note20 series. It claims that the renders have been made based on the final design of the smartphone.
According to the publication, the Samsung Galaxy Note20 is 161.8 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm in dimensions. Its predecessor Note10 measured 151 x 71.8 x 7.9 mm, hence, this implies that the Galaxy Note 20 is a bigger and thicker device compared to the predecessor model. The source of the renders has claimed that Samsung will also launch Galaxy Note20+ alongside the Note20.
The front design of the Note20 is identical to the predecessor. The handset is expected to house a 6.7-inch display with a top-center positioned punch-hole. The Note10 had buttons for volume and power on the left edge. The successor model will have these buttons on the right edge. The top edge of the phone features a SIM tray.
The S-Pen slot has been re-positioned to another side. The bottom edge also features a USB-C port flanked between a microscope and a speaker grille. The rear panel of the phone has a rounder appeal with curved edges. The camera module present at the top-left corner of the phoneâ€™s back could be similar to whatâ€™s available on the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Rumors surrounding the new Note series phones have revealed the Galaxy Note20 series with Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 depending on the market. The Note20 may come with a 4,000mAh battery. These phones are expected to arrive with a 120Hz refresh rate supporting S-AMOLED displays.
The Galaxy Note20+ is said to be bigger than its vanilla sibling as it measure 165 x 77.2 x 7.6mm and it has a 6.9-inch curved display with top-center positioned punch-hole. The display of the Note 20+ is surrounded by very thin bezels.
While the Galaxy Note 20â€™s S-Pen stylus compartment was repotedly re positioned to the left side, the Note20+ shows that its S-Pen slot has been shifted to the left. The other things that can be found on the bottom edge of the Note20+ are an external speaker, a USB-C slot and a microphone.
There is a camera module placed at the top-left corner of Note20+â€™s back panel. The three cameras have silver rings. The third one is a periscope lens. A 3D ToF sensor seems to be present below the LED flash unit. A laser autofocus unit and a microphone are other elements that can be seen in the camera setup of the Note20+. Rumors have it that the Note20 Plus features a 108-megapixel main lens.
The publication did not reveal any information on other specs of the Galaxy Note20+ The handset may arrive in Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 992 SoC versions depending on the market. The Note20+ is also expected to arrive with support 120Hz refresh rate.
