Yesterday, Xiaomi VP, Manu Kumar Jain, took to Twitter to talk about the arrival of the Redmi Note 9. Following the announcement of the Redmi Note 9 arrival, multiple renders of the Redmi Note 9 Pro have surfaced. Since the Note series usually includes a Pro model like the Redmi Note 8 Pro, it is safe to assume that there will be a Note 9 Pro.
According to the Redmi Note 9 poster, the smartphone will feature a square-enclosure quad-rear camera setup. Within the square, we have spaces for four sensors. It could be housing four cameras or three cameras and a flash. The former seems most likely though.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro image by Geskin shows a similar camera design but it has an LED flash underneath. Furthermore, a seemingly real image of this device from 9TechEleven shows a similar design. Although, it clearly states that the image is the Redmi Note 9 Pro concept.
On the front, we have a full-screen display with thin bezels. The frames are thin on all sides but the chin seems thicker than the other sides. This smartphone will come with a punch-hole front camera which is at the top-left corner.
There is no fingerprint sensor on the rear. Also, it doesn’t seem like this device will come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor. The best guess should be a side fingerprint sensor integrated with the power button. There are expectations that the Redmi Note 9 Pro will adopt a high-screen ratio and refresh rate (90Hz or 120Hz). Below the camera module, the “Redmi” logo remains in the middle of the lower back. However, the design seems to be conflicting.
Rumoured Redmi Note 9 Pro Specs
From unverified speculations, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip. Furthermore, there are reports that this device will support NSA and SA dual-mode 5G connectivity as well as 22.5W quick charging (3C Certification).
At present, there is no information on the configuration of this smartphone. The Redmi Note 9 will first arrive in India on March 12. It is safe to also expect the Pro model in this launch event.
