Following the appearance of a mysterious Oppo phone on TENAA listings, a new leak regarding a low-end Oppo phone has surfaced online again. The device is called Oppo A12, and is expected to be the spiritual successor to the A11 which was announced last year October.
Oppo A12 Specifications
This budget smartphone from Oppo will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P35 processor and will come in different variants with 3GB and 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB onboard storage. The smartphone comes with a dual-rear camera setup which houses a main sensor with a 13-megapixel lens with a 2-megapixel secondary lens, up front, a 5-megapixel sensor will handle selfies and video calls.
The Oppo A12 leaks also suggest that the device will have a 6.22-inch HD+ resolution display. The budget smartphone is expected to run on ColorOS 6.1.2. straight from the box and will feature a decent 4,230mAh battery.
The Oppo A12 is said to have a plastic body (majorly polycarbonate) with a diamond pattern on the back and will weigh around 165 grams.
With no word yet on the expected price of this smartphone, we will wait to see what price the company pegs this device. The Oppo A11 was priced at around $200, the Oppo A12 is expected to be slightly above that price threshold.
