The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has notified everyone on their twitter page that biometric verification after exams has been stopped, as it is deemed irrelevant.

It has come to our notice that candidate who sat for the JAMB UTME 2020 from the first day can now check their results. JAMB results are now live 2 – 3 days after the exams.

How Can I Check My JAMB Results 2020 Online

1. Visit JAMB UTME official e-registration portal at https://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility

2. Log in, click on the box “Check UTME Examination Results”

3. Within a few seconds, JAMB will display your score on your screen.

As at the time of writing, JAMB official portal, www.jamb.org.ng isn’t opening. However, do not panic, this could be as a result of an overload of users and traffic hitting on the website at a time.

In order to curb this, JAMB promises that the website will be up and running at full length in no time. Meanwhile, you can still use other ways below to check your JAMB result.

Note: You can check your JAMB result on JAMB portal from 11 pm till 6 am. By these hours, the number of users and traffic hitting on the website will be lesser.

How To Check JAMB Result Via SMS

1. Open your phone’s message box.

2. Send RESULT to 55019.

3. JAMB will send your result as a message to your inbox.

Please, before you continue, note that this service will cost you N50 and don’t send this message multiple times, as it brings about multiple charges.

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) brought this nostalgic idea of using SMS to check results back to 2019 and then, 2020.

Although, candidates complained that JAMB refuses to send them their results after entering the message to 55019. We sincerely advise you to wait a while longer before re-sending the message.

Note: Most times, when you fail to recharge your account on the first try of sending the message, it’ll take a longer time for you to receive the results on the second try with the N50. Our advice is having that N50 on the first try, don’t forget this.

For Candidates Without Result Yet

JAMB confirmed that 2.1 million candidates registered for the examination. The 2020 UTME commenced nationwide on Saturday, March 14 and will end on the 4th of April.

A total of 312,000 candidates sat for the examination in various centers across the country on Saturday. While a total of 469, 670 candidates on Monday sat for the examination in various centers across the country.

Out of these series of JAMBites, we currently don’t have anyone mentioning the “You Do Not Have Any Result Yet” question yet. But if you have any, please exercise until the end of the examination.

JAMB’s head of Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, said that results can be checked by candidates from their profiles in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos
