Xiaomi has announced earlier today that the global sales of its Redmi Note 8 series have exceeded 10 million within just 3 months.

The Redmi Note 8 lineup was officially launched on August 29. The Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro started selling almost immediately and the manufacturer sold an average of 110,000 units per day across the globe.

To celebrate the massive accomplishment, the company is discounting the Redmi Note 8 on its website, but it is just the 6/128 GB option and only in China.

This is groundbreaking for the Chinese company considering the fact it comes with premium specifications but pocket-friendly.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro features an Helio G90T processor, 6GB to 8GB of RAM, and 64GB to 128GB of expandable storage. It also sports a quad rear camera setup (64MP, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth, 2MP macro) and a 4,500mAh battery.

Well, putting this milestone behind, Xiaomi says it’s focusing on the Redmi K30 announcement, scheduled for tomorrow. We are expecting the first 5G device of the sub-brand, along with a full-screen experience and punch-hole design with dual cameras.

It’s likely we see a Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro, with only the latter supporting next-gen connectivity and probably quicker fast-charging options.
